Biography
Inspired by the natural world around her, Emma Smith's drawings and prints seek to bring nature back into our everyday lives and inspire us to appreciate the beauty that lies in the wild. Her works are representations of the ways that nature and human life become intertwined and the natural order that can be found in the chaos of the circle of life.
An Ohio native and resident, Emma attended Wright State University and received her Bachelor's of Fine Arts with a focus in printmaking in 2021. Her work has been exhibited at the Robert and Elaine Stein Gallery, Dutoit Gallery, Rosewood Arts Center, and in the International Print Exchange. Since graduation, she has been sharing her passion for the arts with local elementary and high school students as a teacher and artist-in-residence and continues to explore a variety of mediums in her own work.
